thinking of you

today is sunday. i am sick. i slept until noon. when i woke up, i put on an old pair of sneakers and a dirty shirt and stumbled into town for a coffee. i spilled most of the coffee all over myself while i was waiting in line to pay and walked home with an even dirtier shirt, sipping on whatever was left in the cup.


but it doesn't matter because it's almost october. it doesn't matter because the clouds are a perfect shade of gray. it doesn't matter because i go to new york this weekend. with money. for red velvet cupcakes and hot coffee. special things afoot in brooklyn. it may rain, but that doesn't matter either.
